Privacy

The short version: the tag holds nothing, you decide what shows, and your number stays private unless you say otherwise.

What is in the QR code

Only a web address containing a random identifier. No name, number, address or vehicle detail is encoded in the tag itself. Anyone who photographs your sticker learns nothing from the code alone.

What we store

Your account details, and whatever you enter about your vehicle, yourself and your emergency contact. Photos and documents you upload are stored privately and served only through your tag's page.

What a scanner sees

Only the fields you have switched on. Your phone number, email and address are hidden by default. Anything switched off is not sent to the page at all — it is absent, not merely hidden from view.

Emergency details

The emergency contact section is always visible on a scan. That is the purpose of the tag. Use a number that a stranger should be able to call in an emergency.

Messages

When a visitor writes to you, we store their name, message and the number they chose to leave. They are never shown your phone number or email.

Scans

We record that a scan happened, along with coarse location and device information, so you can see whether your tag is being used. We do not sell this, and we do not use it to track individuals.

Your control

You can change any detail, tighten your privacy settings, or disable a tag entirely from your dashboard. A disabled tag shows nothing to anyone who scans it.
